Loving everything Christmas..
here is my new tree we have always had a green tree but seen this and fell in love with it.'
My old tree had all my beautiful old decoration on it. Some were from my Nana and some from Mum and others that I had bought and added to my collection.,
The Angel on the top has been at the top of my tree for about 20 years, I love her dearly, she is always first one to come off the tree and the last one to go on the tree.,

Some of the decoration's from up the main street.

This Santa has always been around, don't know where he came from but love him too.,

This is an egg that I created from a Goose egg, it has tiny little white doves sitting on a snow covered tree branch.

These 2 little chaps were 2 balls that would of hung on a tree.but I painted them and gave them a face, then I added pipe cleaners for arms and legs and stuck them in a garden, sooooooo cute hay.

My trees for sale with sweet little snow people and even snowballs. I had fun making and painting this.

I have just started growing and painting gourds, These 3 are the first of many. My snow family.

My old Santa cup. I have filled it with tea at Christmas time but this year I put some plants in it and I love it.

Our Gift Shop.
Our tour is a small country town with only 3000 people living in it, so we don't have too many shops. This is our old food shop but last year we got a new food shop so they turned this old shop into a beautiful gift shop.
It has the most amazing gifts and beautiful prezzie for anyone.,I hope you like looking at some of the photos I took.,

Christmas time in town is here and with lots of lovelies to see,.

lots of gift wrapped soaps and bathing beauties, too pretty for the tub.

I love these, they are all fruits and veggies and they are so gorgeous I am hoping Santa will stop by here on his way to my place.

I have been painting;

and if you stand there too long I might paint you.

these are my green windows and I hate green so after 5 years of looking at them I had to do something.

All of the house trims were green,.

I then painted them light blue, which I really liked,but that didn't last long.

Now they are this pretty soft mauve, and I love it so I did all the windows and even the front door, which is now pink and mauve,.

This is my table and chairs that stay out the front. They use to be brown and as all my blogy friends know that I hate brown more than any other colour.They are now pink and purple and I love 'em.I even painted the cane chair I found.,

Then I moved inside with my paintbrush, This is my humble white fridge,now it is white,

and now it is pink.

don't you just love it, I do and it goes with my pink kitchen, Its awesome.,

Car boot sale,
look what I got today from my local church car boot sale,.
I always go when its on, the last months sale I got a few gourds so I was hoping that there would be more, but there wasn't. Its cool cause the lady who sells the gourds was there and she has quiet a few to sell, so tomorrow I am off to visit her. I want to paint snowmen and Santa's on them.
This is what I got today, isn't it cute. I am going to paint it pink and add some flowers. cost 10 cents,.

don't you love this little white birdie. It cost me $1. She is painted pink now and should look lovely in her new home,. ( show you later ).

Check out this kettle, Its was only $1.50 and its brand new. Its too hot for the fire now but come next winter it will sure pay for itself 100 times over,.

These little cups are so pretty I just had to have them. Not sure what to do with them,.only 50cents each. They are so pretty,.

Look at this great little vase, it has a ribbon on the back to hang up and as you can see I already have it hanging up with a little plant in it, only $1.50. I love it.

Big Fat Gypsy Wedding
Just finished watching this on tele and wow look how gorgeous these gowns are.
I love them to bits but you might hate them,.
This one has fairy lights in it., this is soooooooooooooo meeeeeeeeeeeeeee,.,. love it,.,.,.

Even the little girls get to wear these dresses,.,. Some off the dresses can weigh up to 20 stone , how heavy is that.,.,

Look at all the lace and material.,

Soooooooooooooooo gorgeous,.,.

It sure wouldn't be easy going to the lou,. lol,.,.,.,..,.

and the colours are so out there too,.

Enjoy, the Gypsy's have so strange customs and I will admit i don't know much about them. I really enjoyed watching this show and I love weddings, any ones wedding but these were the best by far,.

Party time for Christmas in July.

Here are some of my things I have around me at Christmas time,.

love snowmen and snow ladies. Its really hot here at Christmas time, but one day I am going to the USA for a white Christmas.

My kitchen table last year, even though its hot we still have all the trimmings, like chicken, roast spuds,pumpkin, pudding,pav. all the yummy foods that you can have lots of because its Christmas...lol

This is my snowman container, you can take off his hat and I filled it with lollies for the kids,.

Some of my snow people and Santa's. I have quiet a lot of them and have been collecting for years,.

My beautiful Christmas tree, the Angel on top of the tree is 30 years old

Handmade and Hand painted...

Adding some of my crafts for the linky parties I have joined,.

This is my old freezer that sits out the back room, It was starting to rust in areas so I decided to give it a coat of paint, since I love flowers so much I painted a garden of them on it,. I love it and I think it turned out quiet lovely,. and no rust to be seen,.,.,.,.,.

these are some little flower pins that I made for a swap at Swapbot,.its where we can swap all kinds of things,.

This was an old paint tin I have so I gave it a new outlook on life, I put on some lovely paper and lots of boy thingys, also some flowers which I made and some fancy fibres and lace. I filled it up with yummy things for Mum and Baby and gave it to my friend when her baby was born,.

This lovely sign is for holding up your coats. I have painted some beautiful Roses on it and other little flowers and lacy ones too.,

This beautiful Mum sign is covered with vintage music paper. I painted the letters in pink and white paint and added a pretty handmade silk and lace flower.I think it is gorgeous and will be for sale later on my Etsy.

I just love this piece to bits.I made this pretty little dress with the lace and silk skirt, her bodice is paper,.with yoyos and butterflies in each corner.For sale on Etsy and how pretty would it look hanging on a little girls wall,.

Beautiful Hand painted Roses is what sticks out of this beautiful sign with the word Vintage on it,.

Super Macro,.,.,.,.

... I found this super macro on my camera and have been having fun with it ever since.

The first photo is a bug on a button, the button is only 1 inch wide. Its so cool I have been running around the back yard taking photos of everything I could.,Such good fun.

My berry tree, it is always so pretty at this time of the year. It has these pretty bright red berries in Autumn and beautiful bright green leaves in summer.

and here they are in close up. a bit crumbly but still pretty cool.

Check out the makings on the little leaf and the crosses on each berry.Pretty awesome hay,.

This is a flower from a gum tree, we have lots of birds live in this tree cause the flower is so sweet,.

this is a wattle tree flower.

This is amazing it is a piece of old foam box,

My new eggs.

I made this beautiful egg from an emu egg, I then cut out the cross and decorated it with braids, green rhinestones, and other bits n pieces.

I made this egg for my friend Jacquie's 50th birthday.

Inside the egg I put a pretend candle and when on it shines through all the cuts I made on the egg.

This is the back of the egg, I made a day so you can put your candle in and out.

pretty little flowers on the base of the egg stand.I found the Super Marco on my camera, its amazing what you find when playing around with the knobs on one's toys..lol...

This egg was made by the ladies from the local church, it is hugh and made from paper, inside is Jesus and it is truly beautiful.

This is a goose egg and I turned it into an tea pot. I added the little handle and spout. Inside is a cute teddy bear holding a little baby bear dressed in blue.

Pretty new Flowers.,.,.,
Isn't it always the way I needed a flower and didn't have the colour I wanted.
After looking everywhere in my box of flowers and going mad in the mean time I had a brainwave of an idea.
Here are my plain white flowers, I have heaps of them, I bought a huge bag of them at a garage sale a long time ago.,

I got together some of my fabric dyes, some little cups,and my flowers, and away I went. Dipping here and dipping there until all my flowers were now coloured.

And here they are, all such pretty colours. Blues, pinks, reds, greens, purples and mauve's. Don't they look great.Left to dry overnight,.,.

More flowers.

Check these out how great do they look, I am so happy with the way they look and I now have heaps of pretty colours to play with, yahhhhhhhh.
Don't you just love them! Also I saved myself some money for more craft stuff. yahhhhhhhhhh

Happy Mothers day.

this is my mum, sadly she pass away in 1995.

She was an awesome lady who loved the out doors, flowers, soccer, doing crafts. she taught me heaps of different crafts.,

I miss her every day and when I learn some new craft I wish I could tell her and show her what I did.

Remember a few post back I showed you my beautiful pink kitchen well I got my chairs finished too,. I my patchwork covers for them to go along with the colours of my kitchen.

I painted all the chairs in an off white colour and sanded off some of the paint to give them an old farmhouse look.A few post back I showed you the table and chairs that I painted, so go back and have a look so you know what I am talking about.,

Osama bin Laden was holed up in a two-storey house 100 metres from a Pakistani military academy when he was killed in a US raid.
Flames rose on Monday from the building that was the apparent target of the raid as it was confirmed that the world's most wanted fugitive died not in a cave, but in a town best known as a garrison for the Pakistani military.
A US official said one of bin Laden's sons was also killed in the raid, along with three others, but the official did not name the son or the others killed.
CNN reported that the al-Qaeda leader was shot the head, citing a US congressional source, while Agence France-Presse reported that Pakistani TV channels had broadcast an image said to be of 'bin Laden's face'.
Pakistani officials and a witness said bin Laden's guards opened fire from the roof of the building, and one of the choppers crashed.
The sound of at least two explosions rocked the small northwestern town of Abbottabad where the al-Qaeda chief made his last stand.
The US said no Americans were harmed in the raid.

Such pretty flowers, Its Autumn here in Australia so I don't have a lot of flowers to show

These flowers come from my friends garden in the city and mine last Spring.I have trouble growing anything here where I live cause its too hot in summer and we are already having frosts now and most plants hate frosts and ice,. In the Winter it sometimes get down to -10,. hay I wouldn't grow either.,lol

I love Autumn with all its beautiful colours in the garden. the trees dropping their leaves and all the red,yellow, orange leaves.
I always loved spring with the warm days but as I got older the heat is just to hot for me and after Spring comes Summer and I am not a Summer person anymore.I still love all the new growth and the new babies born in Spring. But love Autumn more now.,

I love pumpkins, look at these little cuties.

The best thing today was it rained and we got 10ml. It hasn't rain for such a long time and it went as quick as it came.,10ml is not alot but its more than we have had. We lost one of the chickens when it feel down a crack in the ground.It was ok but I had never seen anything like it before., We have no grass and no feed for the animals, so we are buying it., We have 3 acres and no green stuff anywhere.

My Kittens,.

I wanted to show you some photos of my beautiful cat Maw MAW, She is the tabby sleeping with Mary and Mick.

I love my cats and Maw Maw had 2 kittens, but then she was bitten by a brown snake and died

so I had to feed then with a eye dropper. It was really hard and waking up every 4 hours to feed them. I know how a mum feels.lol.

Here is Sally playing with the little bear I gave to them for company and warmth.
This was all new to me I never had to look after a baby animal before,.

Here is Sally and Lilly, I still cant tell them apart but their know their names.

This is way they sleep, its an old tyre. there is 3 kittens in the tyre, Sally , Lilly and a little kitten for my friend,.

Playing in a plastic bag. I have bought them a bunch of toys to play with but oh no just give them a plastic bag and they play all day,.

Here they are with my new chicken. The 3 of them keep each other warm, but the kittens keep standing and laying on poor little chick,

Merry Christmas.

I cant believe that this time next week I will be with my family and enjoying Christmas near the Lake.,

I will be going to do some shopping once I get into the city, Glenn will be visiting mates and later eating out and looking at Christmas lights,.

Hoping it wont be to hot this year.

I still have things to do and things to make and I love every bit of it and I know i will be sad when its all over.It it such great fun making and doing Christmas, I have a million things that I want to make for my tree and my family and friends but always run out of time, this year with Glenn being in and out of hospital with his MS means a lot of things didn't get made,,, but there is always next year and I have been saying that for years.

this is my tree this year and the walls have all been painted which means that the lounge room and kitchen are all fixed from the rain damage of 2 years ago,.Yes it took that long for the insurance to help, they would only do lounge and as you all know I did the kitchen.,

Some of my little villages, one day I will get to add some more bits to them to make them prettier.

Here is my beautiful shoes that I made for Cassandra for her Mes Belles Chaussures Blog party.

Here is what I started with, just a plain pair of wedding shoes that I bought from the op shop for $2.

This is the first one. I covered it with lace and more lace, then I added pink beads and a pretty bunch of flowers to the top of the shoe.

This is a close up of the rose and rose bub that I put on the top of my shoe.

My second shoe I did in light bluey green and added pretty blue flowers and blue beads.

I also added blue lace around the top of the shoe.

Here are them together. I am going to fill up one of the shoes with lots of great bits n pieces and give it away.

These gum boots is what I wear most of the time cause I live on a farm and there is no room for pretty shoes.

Remember my kitchen that I painted and fixed up after the rain damaged it,.over at Whitney's blog she is having another I made it without my hubby post. This is what I made without my hubby, My hubby is very handy with lots of different trades but he is the boss always with a big B which makes it not so comfy working together, so its sometimes easier to do it my way which means I have to do it myself,.And heaven help me if I need help, I wouldn't ask for any reason. lol...
My kitchen is great I love it all. Still waiting on lino for floor but I got my new light up and connected.,

Here is how my light started out.. I found it on the side of the road in a old wet box.Me being me I had to bring it home.It was ugly and it was brown and I just spent a week getting rid of all traces of brown from my kitchen so it was not going to be hanging in my pretty pink and blue kitchen.,.,

I pulled it all apart very carefully,.,.

Here it is looking very naked.

I had to put all the pieces in 5 different bowls so none of the pieces got missed up.,,.

Here is the finished light, all painted and primed and hanging gracefully in my beautiful kitchen,.,. I loveeeee it so much. The light man who came to put it in couldn't understand why I had such a light, ha but what would he know he doesn't cook!!!!

I went to spotlight, big w and k mart to get all the beads and gems to decorate it with.It took awhile to get it just right and then I had to glue everything in place, It seem to take ages but it was worth it,..,

Isn't it pretty and it puts out heaps of light too.,I would never of thought about putting this kind of light in my kitchen but wow I am sooooooooo glad I did,.,.and all without my hubby yahhhhhhhhhhhhh such a clever little vegemite I am,..

New Kitchen.

this is my kitchen, always a bit messy but pretty lovely really, except for the colour. Since having all the rain from our leaky roof our kitchen turned from a beautiful kitchen into a wreck, 1 cupboard fell off the wall from the wet so I decided to fix it up and give it a coat of paint.,

Now since I was able to paint it I did it in the colours I like. pink, blue, and white.

I wanted a farmhouse look, you now like the paint is coming off and years old.

My hubby was not impressed by my design and colour choice but hay its my kitchen and I am the one who cooks, cleans in it so it up to me.,lol

This photo below is what it looked like before I started, and I hate the colour brown.

Brown,brown and more brown, yes there are lovely cupboards but yuk;

Here is the start of the colour, pink, blue and white.

Next was the walls and window sills.

this is a really damaged wall where a cupboard use to be until it got so rotten with water that it fell of the wall leaving holes everywhere,. Also done my arm in with wire, blood everywhere.

This is my table and chairs, it too was brown and I Remember paying alot of money for it. Now I love it and is worth million $ to me.I also will be recovering the seats of the chairs in a crazy patchwork of pretty fabrics in the colours of what else but pink, blue and white,.

I had so many chairs and none to match so I ended up with two different ones but I still think its ok.
My hubby is still in shock and our friend ask me when was I going to put the top coat on.Another said it looked 100 years old and when I said it took alot to get it that way the look on there face was priceless.,lol

Hope you like my kitchen, me I LOVE it, next week we will go buy the floor covering so I am hoping to be able to match it all together and I am changing the light for one I am making which will post as soon as its finished.I have really enjoyed doing my kitchen and reading all the blogs about Shabby Chic have given me so much to work with.My bedroom is next.,lol

A few months ago I was going to join in with a Bloggerette Sorority over at Karen's from some days are diamonds blog.,She gave everyone a photo of the blog sisters and we had to make it pretty,. This is what I did with mine,. I glued it to a canvas and painted the background pink and white., I than added some lace around the photo than pom poms,.

I then made these pretty fabric roses and fabric flowers.,I have been making these great looking fabric flowers for awhile now and love making them,.

On the bottom I added a tea stain flowers with a pearl centre., I didn't get it made in time so I missed out on the blog party but still wanted to show you all,. If you pop over to Karen's blog you will be able to see more.,.

I have been busy making fabric flowers and pretty cuffs using vintage lace.,here is a cuff that I made for a swap, I love these cuffs, they are so romantic and pretty, I used vintage lace and a hand made vintage lace flower,.The flower and lace were my great nanas,.

I am loving all the new fabric flowers and roses on the net that you can make, I am having such fun learning and making them.,These flowers were made from vintage lace and then I stiffen them and was able to form a pretty flower.,I added a bead to the center.

These flowers are made with layers of fabric, and sewn together to form a rose flower., I had made quiet a few flowers and added them to hair clips, necklaces, headbands, brooches and lots of other things but you will have to check out my etsy to see the all,.

Look at these roll roses,. I love making these and if you want I can show you how to make them, just let me know,.

These ones are different again.I had to sew these on the sewing machine, but they were very easy to make and can be attached to anything,.

Canola Fields,.

A couple post ago I showed you the beautiful Canola fields at Werris Creek, well look at them now, with a bit of rain and sunshine its almost ready for picking/.,.I wish I could show you from a helicopter it is so amazing, Words cant explain the yellow in each flower head,.

Within a few weeks it will be all picked and back to the brown dirt look,.

What a sight. This is what is happening to our town because of the mines.It has to happen and gives so many people jobs.,

I am not against the mine but it has taken a big piece of of country, and I am so amazed by all the colours from the dirt they have dug up so far,.Every colour from red,brown,white. orange,gray you name it it is there.,The colours are really beautiful considering its dirt.,

Chook Pen Tour.

Just one thing before I start, we call chickens Chooks over here in Oz land, just incase you didn't know what chooks were,.

Welcome to my Coop tour and party or as we say here a Trip around the Chook Pen;

I would like welcome you all to my chook pen and my chooks.

I have quite a good range of chooks, the best one is a rooster named Cheeky. When he hatched his mum didn't want him so me being me picked him up and started caring for him and yes you guessed it he is King Dick now and thinks he owns the place.

He has fathered a lot of little chicks but the boys gang up on him and tried to do him in so we had to make a cage just for him. He is too old now and his sons are the men of the roost.

Cheeky lived inside for many months until now and he hates being just one of the chooks like the rest of them.lol

I have always loved chooks and when I was a little girl Mum and Dad had chooks and it was my job to feed them and to collect the eggs, I was scared of them for a lot of years cause they use to fly at me and try to land on my head and I remember running out of the yard yelling with my arms flapping around my head trying to protect my ears.

I look but now and worder what all the fuse was about, if only I had of walked right in and took the eggs and took controll who knows what kind of person I would of grown into,.lol

Here are some photos of where I do my craft and my painting, also my computer lives here too,.

I have 2 rooms, 1 is my paint room and is full of paint, wood,tin and everything that one day I will paint on,. you know you just have to have it cause you can and one you will do something with, well that's my paint room,.

This is my best at Easter time getting baskets ready for the family. No where to paint but it has been clean since then,.

Here is my

computer table, yes there is

a computer screen somewhere there, also I have my scrap booking stuff like papers, tags, stamps you name it it is there,even my cuppa.

I do everything crafty on this table I don't know how but I get it all done. The thing I hate most about my desk is trying to find it before I start a new craft and I just cleaned it to make a baby rattle for a friend from a duck egg.,

This is my painting table. at the moment I am trying to get some things painted for my etsy. All things pink as you can see.

Its only a small desk but it works very well when I get stuck into it and when its clean it works better.

Here is my shelves for fabric, this is only a small part of my fabrics, I am making a queen size quilt cover out of 5x5 inch fabric pieces and most of them come from old pillow cases.

It will look great when I get it finished or even started might be better,.lol

Here are some of my painting mags, I really have stacks and stacks of them.

I have painting mags from all over the world. I love to paint and have painted on everything from wood,plastic,toilet bowl,walls,leather,paper and anything I find,.

Paper Dolls,.., remember these I always had them when I will little and now I am grown have started playing with them again but this time I am dressing them my way with fabric and lace,ribbons,feathers etc..

This is a Maree doll that I made for the Paper Doll group I am in,it was my 2ND doll and I think it turned out pretty good, don't you,.

I am really enjoying Marie Antoinette and all the beautiful things that go with her and her life;;;

Do you remember some of these pretty dolls that we use to play with. I remember when my mum bought these paper dolls for me and my sister and to this day when I see them in the shop I get this warm funny feeling that comes over me,.

With so many different dolls to pick from like movie stars, kings,queens,common ladies you can have a ball with them;

Awhile ago my family came to visit and I gave Breanna my camera to take some photos, Abit about Bre, she was born with Downs and a Cleft pallet she cant talk but dose sign talking using her hands.. Mine you she can talk when she is having a bad day,,lol

So off she went with the camera and she took 321 photos , there were some really good ones , some I didn't know what there were and some of herself.

Sunflowers and family.

my family came to visit or was it to drive me crazy, My sister Deb, hubby Dan, Breanna, Casey. They spent a week with us and Dan worked his but off and now I have a beautiful garden and a brick path that I didn't know I had, he also cleaned up around the sheds and help build a chook pen.

Can you see Ted our dog he hide in the bathroom and was having nothing to do with the kids at all.

Here we are painting eggs for Easter, Breanna in

the white shirt has Downs and is so full on and she just never stops, always doing something, she wears me out just trying to get things done.

here she is and has painted her tongue with green paint just cause she can. Easter bunny was happy with the eggs the kids painted and he left them lots of yummy eggs to make them hypo and drive poor Aunt glenda mad,!!!!! lol.

Check out our sunflower growing in the drain from bird seed that we had thrown out and washed down with the rain. It is so amazing and so big, that's my hand.

How soon will it be before the Easter Bunny comes.I have made this amazing Easter egg from an ostrich egg, it has been cut into an umbrella design and I have filled it with lots of Easter goodies, like bunny, eggs,flowers,ribbons and all things Easter.It also sit on a little stand so it wont tip over and I am selling it today.

Breast Cancer;

Its such an awful yukky sickness and it can attack anyone at anytime at any age.I am trying to do my part so I have made these lovely bags from bras, the bras are seconds and this is why they are a bit cheaper. I will give a donation to Breast Cancer with every sale,.

These are just 2 of them that I am showing you.

This one is a beautiful deep pink and I have added some pretty black and pink beads, also I have added black lace. Happy Autumn everyone,.

Wow its been so long since I have been here that its Autumn and summer is over, yahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Hate summer

Went over the creek to the next farm

to watch the calves being born it was so amazing, we also watched the little ducklings hatching out of their eggs.I love little baby animals their are so cute,.This is one of the little fellow that was just born.

here is Mamma and her babies, she had twins and so did the other cows but 2 of them died at birth.

here are the little ducklings some were hatching out of their eggs while being put into the box.They are so cute and so yellow.The farm has many animals and we often go there for a chat or to learn something. The people who own it are so lovely and have lived and been farmers forever, their have heaps of kids and grand kids.

I always find something new out and how to do so much stuff for my farm.

Love Autumn,love all the colours and the trees the way their lose their leaves and the best part is the sun isn't so hot.
Then comes winter yahhhhhhh.
