Some more Eggs.....


Here is one of my favourite,I cut out and hinged an Ostrich egg. After that I decorated the egg glued it to a bear which I pulled apart and glued back together using the egg as her belly.

Inside I made a Teddy bear picnic. I use a pretty little ornament of 2 little bears and added flowers and glasses.

This is a bit clearer for you to see.

This Egg is my Tree egg.In this one I cut out the egg to look like a tree, I painted it the colour of a tree too.

Inside I made a little bird bath and a bird feeder and I sat a little girl on a chair just sitting an enjoying herself..

I also add gum nuts around the bottom of the base so they will blend in nicely..

Now this one was tricky to make..It has a butterfly inside.So I painted it to become a garden and also inside I put lots of flowers.

Under the base of the egg I have put a clock which runs by battery and pushed up through the egg a piece of wire with a butterfly on top.So every time the clock ticks it turns the butterfly around looking like it is flying.

This is my Indian egg,I have beaded all over the egg and painted it a darker colour.I also added beads all around the front of the egg one at a time,I didn't think I would ever finish.

inside I add a little Indian lady and I made a fire for her and added some small bits of wood and a straw broom.I also added some rocks and put calico on the walls for her.

Here are my baby bears,The eggs are quail eggs and I removed the bellies of the bears and added eggs that I have decorated with flowers.

they are quiet small....

More of my Eggs for you to see,.,.,.,.

Here is my Autumn Egg, it has a little owl sitting inside,the roses I made from bread dough and painted them a lighter shade of the egg colour, and it stands on a base with other handmade roses and flowers. Here it is closed, all the flowers are punch flowers with little beads for centers

Here is my duck egg with a little swan on a pretend lake.It also has little flowers all over the top of it with little pearls inside.

A closer look

This is one of my favourits, it has pink pearls and gold thread across the front with gold braid.

Inside I lined it with satin to make it soft,These little eggs make great jewell boxes or somewhere to put your gems.

This is a duck egg which took me hours of cutting slowly so it wouldn't break.They are very soft and easy broken.

I put lace inside and on the outside I put delicate little flowers and gold briad.

This is one of the rattles that I have made,,I have done all colours and with any design Makes a great keepsake for your babies birth.

Here is my book egg. It has a hinge to hold it open and I decorate it so it looks like a open book.

Instead of the bear I have put the babies name, date of birth and this makes it a beautiful gift for a new mum and dad.

My Christmas Eggs..........

Here are some of my Eggs that I made for Christmas.. This is an Emu egg which I cut around the tree so I could put in Santa and his reindeers, I also decorated tree with little coloured rhinestones and glitter.
Here is an Goose egg with little fake red rubies and gold trim with a gold statue of the Holy One.

Here is the front of the Egg with gold netting and gold trim with lovely little gold hangers to open the doors.

This shot is better as you can see the snow inside of the egg and I tried this one with red,gold beads and braids and added a few stars to the back of the white after I painted it blue.

Here is my Dove on tree branch egg.This is a Goose egg and I cut out the front and added pretty red flowers and green leave which have been attach to the egg.

Here you can see the pattern in which I cut the front of the egg,I have used red beads and lots of glitter to decorate the front..On the back I have cut out tiny lines to allow the light in.

Inside the egg I have added two cute little snow doves sitting on a branch covered in snow.

Our Roesy..where else would one be on a hot day like today.. She has dug the biggest hole and Glenn filled it with water, she spends alot of time in this hole.

Around my back yard......
here is a cactus growing wild out in the paddock,Its huge and the flowers are amazing, they don't last very long only a couple of days. Since we have had a bit of rain this spring I found these lilies flowering,I always know they were there but had never seen the flower until this year.

This part of the paddock is covered in a beautiful purple flower I love it but it's a weed for the farmers and a pain to get rid of.

Seen these going they are seaside daisy which I planted 2 years ago and now they have risen and are in full bloom.

These are a daisy that was planted near the fish pond I made when we came here but it too had grown over and was surprise to see them flowering.

Red bottle brush tree. Hubby's wheat is much better this year since we have had some much rain.

Purple Iris first time it has flowered and so pretty,Irises were my Mums fabourite flower.

Huge storm last week, it was amazing all the colours and the shadows across the land.Here the sun is shinning after its over.Looking outside my Kitchen windo

Outside my front door towards the creek which fulled up very quick and is just beautiful and clean and it sparkles as the sun shines on it.

More photos soon.Its hard to believe we had so much rain last week and today the ground has huge cracks in it from where its drying out.Looking outside my window it looks like it my rain hope not the monthly markets are on tomorrow and I hoping to find some bargains for Christmas.I'm off know to cook tea we are having oysters;;;yes we have the best oysters ever in out country town, Jo and Keith have an oyster farm and they grow the sweetest biggest oysters I have ever eaten and believe me I have eaten a lot of oysters over the years being my most fab food.
