I am still trying to get my roof fixed and I think I will have to do it myself because my insurance comp wont fix it for me., They will fix the inside, like paint the walls, put down new carpet, fix anything that has been damage and will keep doing it forever., Wouldn't you think that they would put the money towards getting the roof fixed.,Its all getting to much , this has been going on since last Feb the 14Th so that's almost a year and my poor little home still looks like crap.,We have a nice new lounge room and keep your fingers crossed it stays that way., I am going to show you some of the problems and maybe you can tell me why my insurance comp wont replace my roof or at least fix it so it wont leak again,.

Having a big Giveaway soon. Its my blogs 2nd Birthday on the 18th Feb so stay turned cause I have some pretty things to giveaway,.

Its been raining here for nearly 10 days now and that's fine with me cause we need the rain our country is so dry, but I think we have had enough for awhile cause the car got bogged and we had to drag it out with the tractor and the roof is still leaking even with the tarp that the SES put over the house,. Now we are under flood alert cause to creek is about to break its banks so I have packed up some important things in boxes ready for the car but not sure how to pack Rosey my 300 lb pig and she is stubborn and would rather stand out in the rain and play.,Hopefully by the time I get up in the morning it will of gone down or I will be floating down the road,lol I know its not funny but if I don't laugh I will cry and that wont get me anywhere now will it,.NO,.


I am making some new Dolly pegs and having so much fun making there clothes am trying something different and when I have finished I will show you photos.I am off to bed , its been a long day and I am bet., So goodnight and dont let the bed bugs bite.,

to you all., This is what our niece Ashley found in the chook pen while feeding the chooks,.A big fat brown snake and as Glenn pick him out cause his head got quashed he spat out the biggest rat I had ever seen,.It was not a nice sight or a nice feeling I can tell you,. It was Ashley's first snake and she was very calm and I was very proud of her cause she didn't carry on like a dickhead.,

This little chat was sitting on my kitchen cupboard watching me cook Christmas treats, at first I thought he was a pretend frog that Ash or Glenn put there as a trick until it jumped on me as you can tell I almost you know myself,. What an amazing little frog and so green.,

Merry Christmas everyone,.                                                                                                               
I am a bit late with my well wishes it has not been a happy month for me and my hubby, as you know he has MS and its getting worst and he is not coping with it at all.,                                                                   
I didn't get to put any lights up outside for the first time in years, besides not having the drive to do it it has been so hot,.I tell you I am sick of being sad all the time and things going wrong like my roof which is still leaking after the roofers got up there to fix it and made it worse and then my insurance said they wouldn't give us a new roof because,. now get this.,  its to damage to be repaired but not damaged enough to be replaced,. can you believe that crap,.Even though we don't get much rain when it does it comes inside and my cupboard fell off the wall due to the weight of the water, they will fix the cupboard and replace the carpet, paint the walls but it will keep happening until they fix the roof,. We would do it but at the moment money is short maybe Santa might fix it as he comes down the chimney or knowing my luck he will get stuck and sue me,.lol

Cookie exchange,.

These bickies recipes are for scrappy Jessie cookie night, we in Australia call them bickies not cookies,. I hope you like mine, they taste good and never last long when I make them,                                               .
Old time biscuits ,.,.,.,.,..                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  
60 gms butter or marg,                                                                                                           
1/4 cup caster sugar,.                                                                                                                      
1 egg - separated,.                                                                                                                             
1/4 teaspoon vanilla,.                                                                                                                            1  1cup SF flour.,                                                                                                                                       handful of yummy nuts,.
METHOD,.,.,..,

Cream butter and sugar, add egg yolk and beat well,. Mix in vanilla and flour,. Turn onto a floured board and knead lightly,.

Roll into a sheet and cut out shapes with cutter,.
Glaze with egg white, decorate with with almonds,100s and 1000s etc,.

Bake at 180 for 10 mins or until cooked,.

6 mix biscuit mix, 

3 eggs,.                                                                                                                                                

3 cups of SF flour                                                                                                                                
1/2 lb marg,.                                                                                                                                        
1/2 lb sugar.,                                                                                                                                     
Method.,,.,.
Cream butter and sugar together and add flour and eggs,.
Mix well together,. now for the fun part, you can add whatever you like to the mix,. Make a few piles of mix and add chocolates pieces to one, add nuts to one lot, and jam to one lot, add cherries to one lot add anything you like,.
Put on a greased tray  using a spoon and cook for 10 to 15  mins in a Mod oven,.

These are both yummy bickies mixtures and I cook them all the time, For special times  wrap in pretty cellophane or tissue paper and try a big bow around them or stuck in a basket., Makes a yummy gift,.
